Otherwise if you prefer not use the development builds, just use the Stable 5.0 version. Your settings (which include your save files too) will remain if you update Dolphin, so don't worry. Ohh, and use the latest development version of Dolphin. You could always try a different graphics backend (you could try D3D12 is your GPU supports it). Set Speed Limit to 100%, use DSP HLE emulation, use XAudio2 or OpenAL as the audio backend. I should not disable the speed limit if I were you. I have not tried an earlier version of Dolphin, would I lose my data if I tried another one? When it freezes, the in game FPS stays at what it is, but the FPS in the bar on top drops to zero.
